Carly is also a licensed school counselor and advanced reiki master teacher. She has spent her entire life with a passion for helping others to achieve their full potential and to overcome adversity in any capacity she serves. Having overcome many underdog moments and a rocky road in her own life including childhood trauma, growing up in poverty, and facing/overcoming substance abuse in her 30’s, Carly sees every human with limitless potential to beat the odds, to heal from within. Carly has an undergraduate degree in Education from BGSU and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the same institution. Carly also holds a masters degree from KSU in Educational Psychology and an EdS in Counselor Education and Supervision from KSU as well. Carly is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) and is an ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP). She has training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Carly is also EMDR trained and provides trauma therapy to many clients. We serve a wide range of clients from children to adults with concerns ranging from situational stress and finding your way to overcoming trauma, sexual identity exploration, as well as coping with anxiety and depression. In addition, we offer services tailored specifically to persons exploring their relationship with substances and addiction. Uniquely, we offer services tailored to what we consider the “golden loop” with a focus on helping children and adolescents improve functionality and school success through coordination and collaboration with parents and teachers, when able.
